( Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins ) in July of 1969.

bald eagle clutching an olive branch on the lunar surface,
with earth in the background.
APOLLO 1 MISSION PATCH - In commemoration of the 3 astronauts
who perished ( V.I. Grissom, E.H. White & R. Chaffee ) on January 27, 1967.
The patch depicts the module orbiting the earth with the moon in the distance.
GOLDEN OLIVE BRANCH - Actually left on the moon surface to signify the slogan that " We came in peace for all mankind ".

GOODWILL MESSAGES - From more than 70 heads of State and four U.S. Presidents ( Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson & Nixon ).
