Featured here are the denominated bond coupons issued for Euro Disneyland in
France. These colorful clips depict a smiling Mickey showing a map of Europe.
Each measures approximately 1.5 x 3.25 inches ( 2 x 8 cms ).

All of this comes to us from Walter Elias Disney, ( 1901 - 1966 ), American
cartoon artist and producer of animated motion pictures, born in Chicago.
In 1923 Disney began producing animated films in Hollywood, California.
Steamboat Willie (1928), produced by his own company,
introduced Disney's most popular cartoon character, Mickey Mouse,
and used sound for the first time in an animated cartoon.

In the 1950s Walt Disney Productions, Ltd., became a major producer of films
for theaters and television. The company also became involved in book
publishing and the syndication of comic strips featuring cartoon characters.
In addition to animated features, the company produced a number of
documentary and live-action films and several television series.

In 1955 Disney's company founded Disneyland, a huge amusement park in
Anaheim, California. Disney World opened near Orlando, Florida, in 1971,
followed by Europe's most famous amusement park
EuroDisneyland, just on the outskirts of Paris, France.
